Things I learnt from my office.

1. People are selfish. And it is okay to be selfish and you need to learn to be selfish too. There will be times when you need to choose yourself over other things.

2. You shouldn't trust anyone. Listen, observe and learn. Don't just trust them blindly. Don't share everything.

3. Don't get involved in office politics. You will be doomed.

4. If you want something go get it, ask for it. Things don't come to you, you have work hard for them.

5. Don't hide. Be at the places where you get attention. Because if you don't, people will step over you, though you are too good.

6. Don't stick with a single person. Never. 

7. Don't give them the power to control you, don't let them think you are inferior to them. Dont think you are inferior to them.

8. Appreciate. No one's there without a back story, everyone's working hard, everyone's there for a reason, no one just easily climbed up the ladder.

9. Be open to learning anything anytime. Keep your eyes and ears open.

10. Nothing is small work or big work. Do everything you can, if you are a beginner mainly.

11. Beware of the people who try to put you down. 

12. Be in your limits. Don't let others cross the limits. Don't give them a chance to belittle you.

13. Stick to your principles.

14. Everyone has something to teach, don't look down upon someone.

15. Not all bosses can be good mentors.
